WWE Money in the Bank 2025 Review
Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match - Rhea Ripley vs Giulia vs Alexa Bliss vs Naomi vs Roxanne Perez vs Stephanie Vaquer
Opening with match of the night, in my opinion. The story told throughout, the veterans vs the newcomers, was so well executed. I loved the spot of Roxanne Perez and Giulia burying Rhea Ripley in ladders, only for later in the match Rhea getting revenge on Roxanne by rising out of the ladders, great stuff. Everybody got time to shine here. Naomi winning was the right decision, not only because she has the most interesting storyline, but because we finally have a woman of color winning the briefcase.
★★★★½
As you can imagine for a match booked earlier in the day, this match felt thrown together at best. Clocking in at around 5 minutes, barely anything of note happened here. Only positive I could say for this is that it got more eyes on Octagón Jr., but even then, Worlds Collide is free on YouTube for everyone to see. I do not know why this wasn't given more time.
★★
Excellent bout between these two. Yet again, these two have great chemistry. A more physical, hard hitting affair then their match at Backlash. The result of Becky winning was totally unexpected, but Lyra attacking her after shaking her hand ensures they'll have more matches in the future. Great stuff here, honestly.

Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match - LA Knight vs Penta vs Andrade vs Solo Sikoa vs El Grande Americano vs Seth "Freakin'" Rollins
Not a bad match, but definitely the worse of the two ladder matches tonight. Just like the Women's match, everyone here got plenty of opportunity to shine here, but the devil's in the details, though. At any point, you'd expect CM Punk, Sami Zayn, or even Roman Reigns try to cost Seth Rollins the briefcase. That not happening was just baffling, and Seth holding the briefcase again helps no one involved.
★★★★
Mostly dull and forgettable. I've got to be honest, the first couple of months of John Cena's heel turn I found mostly entertaining due to his promo work, but this storyline has gotten dull real quick. Couple that with WWE want John to prop up real-life terrible human being Logan Paul, and you've got a terrible time. There were a couple of amusing spots, but nothing that really saves this thing if I'm being honest. What did save this match though, was the return of R-Truth to cost John Cena the match. He was released on Monday last week, but apparently we made enough noise to force WWE to correct that mistake, which honestly made this worth it.
★★★
PPV Grade:
Match Quality: 70/100
Show Structure: 80/100
Atmosphere: 90/100
Story: 80/100
Production: 80/100
Overall: B- (80/100)
I'm going to be honest, R-Truth saved what was going to be a depressing main event. This past week has been depressing due to WWE releasing R-Truth and seemingly ignoring our outcry against it. I was honestly becoming disillusioned by the business as a whole, but this event (for the most part) reinvigorated my love for pro wrestling again.
