Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Final - Mercedes Moné vs Jamie Hayter I don't know, after weeks of AEW presenting this as a very heated fued, this match really came off as tame by comparison. Not really a bad wrestling match, perse, but I was expecting more of a brawl between these two than a heatless technical match. Mercedes winning was kind of predictable, and no doubt she'll go on to win at All In. ★★★½ Nigel McGuiness and Daniel Garcia vs FTR Started off a bit slow, but managed to win me over near the end. This is probably the worst match of Nigel's since returning, and that's because he was basically treated as the weak link between the two, suffering most of FTR's heelish antics. At least Daniel Garcia looked strong by not tapping! I assume this fued is going to continue since FTR won, but you never know, Khan might lose interest and go a different direction. Owen Hart Men's Tournament Quarterfinal - Will Ospreay vs Kevin Knight Match of the night in my opinion, and what a first PPV showing for Kevin Knight. These two had excellent chemistry together. With move after move, counter after counter, some reversals I've never even seen before. Kevin Knight sure has potential, I sure hope his future in this company is bright, but you never know with Tony Khan. Next month, he might be jobbing out to Kyle Fletcher.  ★★★★★ AEW World Tag Team Championships - The Hurt Syndicate vs The Learning Tree An okay match to say the least, and sure is better than their title defense against The Outrunners. I did like how they built up this match, though. Using Big Bill's rematch clause when he and Ricky Starks (Saints) lost the titles to Sting and Darby Allin. This match was essentially here to further the MJF/Hurt Syndicate storyline, and it did its job adequately, it just wasn't a mind blowing match. ★★★½ ...

MJF vs "Hangman" Adam Page Excellent opener to start the night. While AEW fumbled the ball with the MJF/Adam Cole storyline, they certainly did a good job of making me care enough leading up to this match. Just absolutely brutal stuff between these two, including a pretty stiff piledriver on a chair at one point. The Angel's Wings from Hangman to MJF was such a poetic finish. ★★★★ AEW TBS Championship - Mercedes Moné vs Momo Watanabe While not the most terrible match on the card, the ending result was just too damn predictable for me to even care about this one.
